Vision / Mission

In 1965 Four States Communications, Inc. established itself as a corporation. The business started out as a commercial two-way radio shop in Farmington. For added customer convenience another business location was established in Grants, New Mexico in the 1970's. The Grants location was closed in 1984. These service centers provided all aspects of sales and service for Motorola two-way radios including warranty, maintenance and repair. Today, Four States Communications is still a Motorola premiere authorized service provider. The company has grown steadily through the years and is now operating in the wireless broadband, networking, telecommunications, microwave, and other communications markets.

Four States Communications, Inc.'s mission is to provide our customers with quality Motorola two-way radio communications systems and equipment, maintenance, warranty and repair service. Our commitment to customer service is unequivocal in all aspects, making us Motorola’s premier authorized service provider and setting the standard in the wireless market.

Background

Four States Communications is one of many Motorola two-way dealer and service providers in the United States. Four States was awarded the 1993 Pinnacle Club by Motorola. In 1985 and 1990 Four States was awarded Service awards by Motorola. In 1988 Hugh Ann Payne, President and CEO for Four States was awarded for her service on the Motorola National Service Advisory Committee. Four States has grown financially as well as expanding technologically. Four States Communications currently provides services for the following Agencies:

The legal form of Four States Communications, Inc. is Subchapter S-Corporation, located in Farmington, N.M. Four States Communications no longer owns or operates the Grants, N.M. business location.

Product Strategy

Current Product

Four States Communications currently offers many Motorola Two-Way products: Wireless Broadband, Dispatch Consoles, Console Furniture, Mobile Data, Fire Station Alerting, Two Way Trunking Systems, Moto-Turbo, Two-Way Portable and Mobiles, GPS and Vehicle Location, Logging Recorders and Netclock Equipment. There are too many to mention all of them.

Overall our existing product line is mature but with growth potential with our Passport Trunking product and Wireless Broadband Technologies.

Our product technology consists of CRT Based Dispatch Consoles, Conventional Voting and the latest Astro Digital Conventional Simulcast.

Sales Strategy

Four States Communications currently services and maintains many customer accounts in the Four Corners region. Four States became a Manufacturers Representative for Motorola in 2002. This allows us to sell Motorola products to you, the customer, directly and eliminate some of the delays involved with purchasing your products.

Distribution Channels

Four States Communications marketing strategy incorporates plans to sell our Motorola products through several channels. Including using our sales team that maintains their sales territories. Everyone on the Four States Communications sales team has more than 4 years experience selling Motorola products, and all of them have worked as Communications technicians prior to being in the Sales department.
